IMDSv2 Endpoint Mode
IMDS can be accessed in two ways:
- Via the IpV4 endpoint:
http://169.254.169.254
- Via the Ipv6 endpoint:
http://[fd00:ec2::254]
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
IpV4
IpV4 mode: http://169.254.169.254
This mode is the default unless otherwise specified.
IpV6
IpV6 mode: http://[fd00:ec2::254]
