Enum AttributeValue

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum AttributeValue { Boolean(bool), Decimal(String), EntityIdentifier(EntityIdentifier), Ipaddr(String), Long(i64), Record(HashMap<String, AttributeValue>), Set(Vec<AttributeValue>), String(String), Unknown, }
Expand description

The value of an attribute.

Contains information about the runtime context for a request for which an authorization decision is made.

This data type is used as a member of the ContextDefinition structure which is uses as a request parameter for the IsAuthorized, BatchIsAuthorized, and IsAuthorizedWithToken operations.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Boolean(bool)

An attribute value of Boolean type.

Example: {"boolean": true}

§

Decimal(String)

An attribute value of decimal type.

Example: {"decimal": "1.1"}

§

EntityIdentifier(EntityIdentifier)

An attribute value of type EntityIdentifier.

Example: "entityIdentifier": { "entityId": "<id>", "entityType": "<entity type>"}

§

Ipaddr(String)

An attribute value of ipaddr type.

Example: {"ip": "192.168.1.100"}

§

Long(i64)

An attribute value of Long type.

Example: {"long": 0}

§

Record(HashMap<String, AttributeValue>)

An attribute value of Record type.

Example: {"record": { "keyName": {} } }

§

Set(Vec<AttributeValue>)

An attribute value of Set type.

Example: {"set": \[ {} \] }

§

String(String)

An attribute value of String type.

Example: {"string": "abc"}

§

Unknown

The Unknown variant represents cases where new union variant was received. Consider upgrading the SDK to the latest available version. An unknown enum variant

Note: If you encounter this error, consider upgrading your SDK to the latest version. The Unknown variant represents cases where the server sent a value that wasn’t recognized by the client. This can happen when the server adds new functionality, but the client has not been updated. To investigate this, consider turning on debug logging to print the raw HTTP response.
