Struct RoleMethods

source
pub struct RoleMethods<'a, C>
where C: 'a,
{ /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A builder providing access to all methods supported on role resources. It is not used directly, but through the Iam hub.

§Example

Instantiate a resource builder

extern crate hyper;
extern crate hyper_rustls;
extern crate google_iam1 as iam1;

use iam1::{Iam, FieldMask, hyper_rustls, hyper_util, yup_oauth2};

let secret: yup_oauth2::ApplicationSecret = Default::default();
let auth = yup_oauth2::InstalledFlowAuthenticator::builder(
    secret,
    yup_oauth2::InstalledFlowReturnMethod::HTTPRedirect,
).build().await.unwrap();

let client = hyper_util::client::legacy::Client::builder(
    hyper_util::rt::TokioExecutor::new()
)
.build(
    hyper_rustls::HttpsConnectorBuilder::new()
        .with_native_roots()
        .unwrap()
        .https_or_http()
        .enable_http1()
        .build()
);
let mut hub = Iam::new(client, auth);
// Usually you wouldn't bind this to a variable, but keep calling *CallBuilders*
// like `get(...)`, `list(...)` and `query_grantable_roles(...)`
// to build up your call.
let rb = hub.roles();

Implementations§

source§

impl<'a, C> RoleMethods<'a, C>

source

pub fn get(&self, name: &str) -> RoleGetCall<'a, C>

Create a builder to help you perform the following task:

Gets the definition of a Role.

§Arguments
  • name - The name parameter’s value depends on the target resource for the request, namely roles, projects, or organizations. Each resource type’s name value format is described below: * roles.get: roles/{ROLE_NAME}. This method returns results from all predefined roles in IAM. Example request URL: https://iam.googleapis.com/v1/roles/{ROLE_NAME} * projects.roles.get: projects/{PROJECT_ID}/roles/{CUSTOM_ROLE_ID}. This method returns only custom roles that have been created at the project level. Example request URL: https://iam.googleapis.com/v1/projects/{PROJECT_ID}/roles/{CUSTOM_ROLE_ID} * organizations.roles.get: organizations/{ORGANIZATION_ID}/roles/{CUSTOM_ROLE_ID}. This method returns only custom roles that have been created at the organization level. Example request URL: https://iam.googleapis.com/v1/organizations/{ORGANIZATION_ID}/roles/{CUSTOM_ROLE_ID} Note: Wildcard (*) values are invalid; you must specify a complete project ID or organization ID.
source

pub fn list(&self) -> RoleListCall<'a, C>

Create a builder to help you perform the following task:

Lists every predefined Role that IAM supports, or every custom role that is defined for an organization or project.

source

pub fn query_grantable_roles( &self, request: QueryGrantableRolesRequest, ) -> RoleQueryGrantableRoleCall<'a, C>

Create a builder to help you perform the following task:

Lists roles that can be granted on a Google Cloud resource. A role is grantable if the IAM policy for the resource can contain bindings to the role.

§Arguments
  • request - No description provided.
