Struct HexWriter

Source
pub struct HexWriter<T> { /* private fields */ }
Available on test or crate feature std only.
Expand description

Given a T: fmt::Write, HexWriter implements std::io::Write and writes the source bytes to its inner T as hex characters.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> HexWriter<T>

Source

pub fn new(dest: T, case: Case) -> Self

Creates a HexWriter that writes the source bytes to dest as hex characters in the given case.

Source

pub fn into_inner(self) -> T

Consumes this HexWriter returning the inner T.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> Write for HexWriter<T>
where T: Write,

Source§

fn write(&mut self, buf: &[u8]) -> Result<usize, Error>

§Errors

If no bytes could be written to this HexWriter, and the provided buffer is not empty, returns std::io::ErrorKind::Other, otherwise returns Ok.

Source§

fn flush(&mut self) -> Result<(), Error>

Flushes this output stream, ensuring that all intermediately buffered contents reach their destination. Read more

fn write_vectored(&mut self, bufs: &[IoSlice<'_>]) -> Result<usize, Error>

Like write, except that it writes from a slice of buffers. Read more

fn is_write_vectored(&self) -> bool

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (can_vector)
Determines if this Writer has an efficient write_vectored implementation. Read more

fn write_all(&mut self, buf: &[u8]) -> Result<(), Error>

Attempts to write an entire buffer into this writer. Read more

fn write_all_vectored(&mut self, bufs: &mut [IoSlice<'_>]) -> Result<(), Error>

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (write_all_vectored)
