Expand description
(deprecated: see crate::RequestV2
) Request randomness.
§Required accounts
- (signer) payer – request and transaction fee payer
- (writable) network_state – VRF on-chain config PDA
(see
network_state_account_address
) - (writable) (from VRF on-chain config) treasury – either SOL treasury or token treasury (see remaining accounts)
- (writable) request – randomness request PDA
(see
randomness_account_address
) - system_program - system program account
§Remaining accounts
If token fee configuration exists and given treasury equals token treasury, then remaining accounts are required:
- (writable) token_payer – payer token wallet
- token_program_account – necessary to execute the transfer
§Space calculation for account creation (request)
- 8 (anchor tag) + 32 (seed) + 64 (combined randomness) + 4 (response array length) + (32 (fulfiller pubkey) + 64 (fulfiller randomness)) * 7 (maximum number of responses)

Returns the validated accounts struct. What constitutes “valid” is
program dependent. However, users of these types should never have to
worry about account substitution attacks. For example, if a program
expects a
Mint
account from the SPL token program in a particular
field, then it should be impossible for this method to return Ok
if
any other account type is given–from the SPL token program or elsewhere. Read moresource§impl<'info> AccountsExit<'info> for Request<'info>where

fn to_account_metas(&self, is_signer: Option<bool>) -> Vec<AccountMeta>
is_signer
is given as an optional override for the signer meta field.
This covers the edge case when a program-derived-address needs to relay
a transaction from a client to another program but sign the transaction
before the relay. The client cannot mark the field as a signer, and so
we have to override the is_signer meta field given by the client.Auto Trait Implementations§
